Tara always knew that she wanted to work within the area of paediatrics, as she always enjoyed the fun, simple moments (such as high fives) that you regularly experience when working with children. She has worked with a range of children, adolescents and young adults with varying skills and abilities. Tara’s friendly and caring personality helps her to build rapport quickly with both children and families, a connection that she values very highly. She is an accredited and registered Occupational Therapist.
Tara has been involved in research through honours degree and her journal article was published in the Australian Occupational Therapy Journal in February, 2019. “Pre-discharge home visits: A qualitative exploration of the experience of occupational therapists and multidisciplinary stakeholders”.
